Penguin Party Piano

Public Piano  |  Summer 2013  |  HDU sign foam, plywood, rhinestones, sequins, latex and acrylic paint

This piece was created as part of the Keys 4/4 Kids Pianos on Parade program. This year’s theme was “Color-Coded” and each team was randomly assigned a different color. I worked closely with 2nd grader Nia Stiggers to design and paint the “black piano” complete with a castle, disco ball and partying penguins. The piano is fully playable and is located just outside of the Traveler’s building in downtown St. Paul for the entire summer.
