Robin Schwartzman resides in Minneapolis, MN where she is an independent artist. She works as the 3D Digital Fabrication and 2D Technical Coordinator as well as teaches as a Lecturer at the University of Minnesota Department of Art. Robin is currently the President of the International Society of Caricature Artists and is co-founder of A Couple of Putts. Robin received her BFA from Syracuse University in 2008 and her MFA from the University of Minnesota in 2011. Her large-scale projects have been commissioned by and featured at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, the Indianapolis Museum of Art, Elmhurst Art Museum, BLINK Cincinnati, Northern Spark Festival Minneapolis, Canal Convergence Scottsdale, ArtScape Baltimore, ArtPrize in Grand Rapids, MI and Hub-Bub in Spartanburg, SC, to name a few. She is a recipient of a Minnesota State Arts Board Artist Initiative Grant (2011) and the Jerome Foundation Fellowship for Emerging Artists (2014). Schwartzman’s obsession with leisure and play has led her to amusement parks and miniature golf courses around the world. You may even recognize her as a contestant from Season 1, Episode 9 of Holey Moley on ABC.
